The Explosive Nitron is a thrown explosive weapon used by the Pathfinder class in Tribes: Ascend. It deals extra damage and knockback compared to the Impact Nitron but does not force flag drops. This weapon can be unlocked for 40 Gold or 4800 XP.

The Explosive Nitron works like a grenade for the Pathfinder class. When thrown it travels in a short arc and detonates upon impact.
