The Heavy Twinfusor is an explosive projectile weapon used by the Juggernaut class in Tribes: Ascend. It was released in the "Twinfusor update" and can be unlocked for 500 Gold or 88000 XP.
"Quickly finding popularity across the Wilderzone, the Twinfusor series fires two disks per reload. This heavy version has been modified for Juggernauts." In-Game Description.
Operation[]
The Heavy Twinfusor works like any Spinfusor in that it fires explosive disks in a straight line over long distances. The major difference is that the Heavy Twinfusor can fire two disks in quick succession. Each Twinfusor disk deals less damage than a Spinfusor MK-X (616 vs. 924) however if both disks hit their target the combined damage is greater (1232). After two disks have been fired the Heavy Twinfusor reloads with a 2 disk clip. The higher total damage makes this weapon ideal for players who are sure of their accuracy.
