Hi-Rez Studios is a game development company started in 2005. They are based out of Atlanta, Georgia. Hi-Rez Studios have developer of the popular game, Global Agenda in 2010. In the fourth quarter of 2010, Hi-Rez Studios purchased the Tribes franchise. They announced development of Tribes Universe in 2010 but since then have switched over their attention to Tribes: Ascend. Hi-Rez Studios has also started the development of a new game called Smite, which is a MOBA with a mythological god theme.
