The Shotgun is a hitscan projectile weapon used by the Pathfinder class in the game Tribes: Ascend.

Operation

The Shotgun fires a burst of 8 projectiles in a random pattern that deal 80 damage at close range. This is a hitscan weapon so it's rounds do not need to be led like many other weapons. Unfortunately, the shotgun is only effective at close range. At medium range the rounds begin to drop off and will not hit their target.
